Installing the Angle Braces and Kevlar® Ratchet Strap.

If your ratchet strap is too tight to reposition the frame, you don’t need to disassemble the kit. There’s a simple way to release just enough tension to safely adjust your angle braces. Follow this guide to loosen the strap .

Installing the Extender Arms.

Installing the GenTent Frame Rods and Center Connector.

Installing the GenTent Canopy and Aprons.


Always position the GenTent refuel door on the side farthest from the exhaust to reduce the risk of igniting spilled fuel. Learn how to identify the safe refueling side for your model .

Some inverter generators feature a high-mounted exhaust — above the height of the electrical panel (e.g., Honda EU3000iS). In these cases, you must install the Angle Braces at different heights on the exhaust side versus the electrical panel side to ensure the exhaust vents beneath the canopy.
